Sioux Falls, SD) - YWCA Sioux Falls and Junior League of Sioux Falls are taking participant applications until 5PM on Friday for the 2013 YWCA Women's Leadership Program.Designed by leaders in the community, the YWCA Women’s Leadership program will help empower women to reach their greatest potential.
Women in any career field can benefit from this intensive course, which combines a strong personal development focus along with valuable professional development experiences. Participants will also gain the opportunity to create important personal and professional relationships with other future leaders, mentors and facilitators for lifetime support.
The application deadline for participants is 5PM, Friday, October 12. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program by November 16. Potential mentors have until Feb. 15 to apply. Application forms are available at the downtown YWCA or www.ywca-sf.org/leadership. The cost is $375 per participant. The program begins with a retreat in January and involves eight half-day sessions through April. The mentoring portion of the program then runs for one year. The leadership program is open to women of all ages from all career fields. Eighteen to 24 participants will be accepted.
